Psychoz Interactive has told us that a "Director's Cut" version of its Bronze Award-winning horror adventure Forgotten Memories is on its way.

It'll be coming to PS Vita, PS3, and PS4 in early 2016.

An iOS version of the Director's Cut will come afterwards. But note that it won't replace Forgotten Memories: Alternate Realities on the App Store - it'll be a separate download.

However, the Director's Cut will only be available for higher-end iOS devices.

The reason for that restriction being that the Director's Cut will have improved graphics the older devices won't be able to support.

It'll also have improved AI, combat, controls, mechanics, UI, with new areas, interactions, boss battles, and CGs added too.

"We've also fixed remaining English localization issues and the game is now localized in all major languages including French, Spanish, German, Chinese and Japanese," Psychoz tells us.
Halloween sale
That's not all the news Psychoz had for us today. Forgotten Memories: Alternate Realities is also on sale for Halloween.

Today (October 29th), you can pick it up for the sale price of 79p / 99c.

But that price is only for today as each day will see another dollar added to that sale price until it returns to the full price of £4.49 / $5.99 once again.

So if you want to get it at its cheapest grab it today over on the App Store.

There’s a busy month ahead for Xbox Game Pass, as Microsoft has announced the latest offerings that will be heading to the service over the month. The entire catalogue of new additions includes 17 new titles across PC, console, and Android, with 11 of them coming to the latter.

One such title is Rage 2, a Mad Max-esque first-person shooter developed by Avalanche Studios (who actually created a Mad Max game several years ago) in conjunction with Doom’s id Software. It’ll be available on the service on 3rd December.

Perhaps the biggest offering of the bunch is Remedy Entertainment’s Control, a third-person action adventure game where you play as Jesse Faden, a secret government agent who possesses paranormal powers and faces a deadly threat from an otherworldly force. The game, originally released in 2019, was noted for its similarities to The X-Files and the works of David Lynch. For anyone who’s been looking forward to trying this on the go, now’s your chance with a decent enough internet connection. Control is also arriving on 3rd December.

In addition to these two, Slime Rancher, Yes Your Grace, Call of the Sea, Monster Sanctuary, Assetto Corsa, Gang Beasts, GreedFall, Superhot: Mind Control Delete, and Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair will also release for the service over the next month. Details on each title are available at the official Xbox blog post.

It should be noted you need an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription to access these games. It costs £10.99 a month and lets you play games across Android, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Windows 10, with new titles being added every month (as well as some being removed). You can check it out from the link right here.
Check out our definitive list of every Xbox Game Pass for Android game which features touch controls.

Essential for JRPG fans on Switch."

I covered Bandai Namco's slightly insulting and upsetting reveal of Tales of VS. 2 early last month, which turned out to be a sick April Fool's joke, if you didn't know. The company went so far as to put together a fake gameplay trailer and everything.

Games on iOS are about to get bigger than ever, as Apple has officially doubled the maximum size of iPhone and iPad apps, from 2GB to 4GB.

"The size limit of an app package submitted through iTunes Connect has increased from 2 GB to 4 GB, so you can include more media in your submission and provide a more complete, rich user experience upon installation," says Apple.

As Twitter user fronkhead points out, Disney had already gone above the 2GB limit back in January for Disney Infinity 2.0, which was a 3.8GB download.

Good news for game makers, then. Bad news for 16GB iPad owners. "Please keep in mind that this change does not affect the cellular network delivery size limit of 100MB," says Apple.
